Some quick facts with regards to training and certification with
AAOCO:
- All members will be clergy of AAOCO through our sister
organization Life Celebration Ministries (LCM).
- Everyone certified by AAOCO must abide by all the standards and
bylaws of LCM.
- Each applicant must agree to the values
and beliefs of AAOCO and LCM.
- Violation of any of these standards will result in immediate
removal of membership and certification.
- There is a mandatory two-day training session before
certification is officially conferred.
- A current background check is required to complete the application
process.
- A reference will be required by each applicant.
- AAOCO provides ordination for those
who need it through LCM in order to fulfill state marriage laws.
- Ordination with LCM involves completing our mandatory
reading
list.
- Membership with AAOCO includes; training, electronic resources, ceremony scripts, access to our private
Facebook group, member to member support, access to blogs, videos
and podcasts from founders Wayne Prevett and Jon Sanders and so much more.
- A fully functional, SEO ready, website is included with the
annual membership fee.
- Certification with Association of Professional Wedding Officiants
(AOPWO) is automatic upon completion of all

- Training is mandatory.
- There is an annual certification and membership fee
of $1000.00 payable on the Saturday afternoon of training.
- The AAOCO agreement form will be required to be completed
annually.
- There is regular accountability and inspiration.
