Wedding Officiant Certification was founded by Wayne and Rosanne Prevett and Jon Sanders. WOC is an extension ministry of Life Celebration Ministries INC.

Wayne and Rosanne:

  • Wayne was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada.

  • Rosanne was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

  • Wayne is graduate of Heritage Theological Seminary.

  • Rosanne is a graduate of Knox College, University of Toronto.   

  • We are both ordained ministers: Wayne from a Fellowship Baptist background; Rosanne from a Presbyterian background. Currently ordained with Celebrating Life Ministries INC.

  • We are both certified, licensed wedding officiants in Ontario, Canada and the State of Virginia who have been performing Life Celebrations for over 25 years.

  • We are the founders of Celebration Life Ministries and Kettle Creek Weddings, Canada.

  • We met, fell in love and were married in 1995.

  • We launched a new ministry together in St. Thomas Ontario, Canada called Kettle Creek Ministries.

  • This ministry developed into a powerful, practical street ministry that served hundreds of needy people through physical, emotional and spiritual support.

  • We developed Mercy Works, a cooperative food bank and clothing exchange.

  • We served a community dinner every Tuesday night for 125 street people.

  • We ran a lunch program for 35 children each Tuesday through our children’s program called the EDGE Kids Club. 

  • Some of the obvious needs were rites of passage such as weddings and funerals.

  • With time the ministry of funerals and weddings grew and we decided to devote our lives to this opportunity.

  • In 2003 we decided to commit ourselves to making this a full time venture, and performed 187 weddings that first year. 

  • Wayne and Rosanne, along with a team of associates, have performed over 5000 weddings.

The LCM Story

  • Life Celebration Ministries (LCM) was formed in 2022. It is a not-for-profit incorporated religious charity with IRS designation.

  • The foundation of all we do at LCM is our passion to see lives transformed.

  • We believe the ministry of Jesus was hands on and practical…He met needs! We seek to emulate His example by meeting needs.  

  • We are committed to personal and family success.

  • We seek to provide a context of ministry to individuals who want to build God’s kingdom in a non-traditional way.
